Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information collected through the STAR website and its private question tools, and how S.T.A.R. Concrete Pumping Co., Inc. uses it.
What we collect
Job applications include your name, phone, optional email, location, preferred role and the experience you provide. The full driver form also asks for address history, license details, driving and employment history, qualifications and your application consents and signature. We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth or a license photo on this website.
Pump requests include contact and company details, the jobsite, pour date, requested equipment and any notes you send. Please do not put Social Security numbers, financial details or other unnecessary sensitive information in an open text field.
We record the submission time, page, referring page, campaign tags, language and network information used to protect the forms from abuse. If you choose application texts, we record your choice, the wording and version shown, the receipt time, phone number and the time zone you explicitly confirm. We do not infer your texting time zone from a phone area code or browser setting.
How we use and share information
We use applications to review job qualifications and contact applicants. We use pump requests to respond about equipment and service. Authorized Star staff and IEC Tech, which operates the website and its systems for Star, can process this information. Hosting, security and communications providers process the information needed to run these services.
We do not sell application information. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety and security of our services.
Storage and retention
Unhired applications are generally scheduled for deletion two years after the applicable application-stage change, or two years after receipt if never contacted. Pump requests are scheduled for deletion after 24 months. Spam is generally removed after 30 days. Records marked hired or subject to a legal hold are excluded from automatic application deletion and require separate review.
The application system clears stored submission IP addresses after seven days. Communications, consent and opt-out records may be retained separately to operate the service, document permission and honor requests not to receive texts. Backups and service-provider logs may have separate retention periods.
When your browser allows it, unfinished application answers are stored in this tab for the session so a reload or language change does not lose your work. They are cleared after a successful send; closing the tab can clear them. The site also stores a language preference and uses Google Analytics and Cloudflare services for site measurement and protection. Your form answers are not included in the site analytics events.
Private team access and answers
For private question access, we store approved team members’ names, email addresses, account identifiers and access roles, along with who added or removed access and when. We use verified sign-in and session information to protect access.
Saved question answers and comments include the original respondent’s and later editor’s name, email address and time of the change. Question owners and approved question teammates can see these answers and their revision history. We keep earlier revisions as a record of decisions; editing an answer or removing someone’s access does not erase that history. Question access does not by itself grant office-admin access.
When browser storage is available, the private question tool keeps sign-in information and unsaved answer drafts in the current browser tab. Signing out clears that local information; closing the tab can clear it too. Saving a question stores the answer in the private application, without sending a text message or answer email.
Your choices and contact
Texting is optional and is not a condition of employment. See the Texting Terms for STOP and HELP instructions. To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or tell us not to contact you, call 281-357-1555. We may verify your identity and keep information required for legal obligations.
